Here is some work that I produced for the APG Young Talent Award this year. The brief was to create and brand a business or service aimed at 16-22 year olds. I identified an emerging trend in the milkshake bar sector so I came up with a new business called ‘The Yard’. With the increase in healthy eating and the rise in coffee shops I thought why not join the two together and create a business that can be as, and if not more, successful than the coffee phenomenon. The Yard is a new Milkshake/Smoothie bar where young people can chill with their friends on bean bags and treat themselves to a healthy alternative to coffee. Why not start your day with a fruit smoothie rather than a caffeine fueled cup.
